ROLE OVERVIEW:
F31 is looking for a Sales Director who will identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to drive business revenue.
In an exciting new collaboration with Infront Sports & Media AG, one of the leading sports marketing agencies in the world, F31 has access to a portfolio of a broad range of premium marketing rights and a network of international rightsholders.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and results-oriented, with the knowledge and drive to leverage all F31/Infront owned and third-party assets to maximum potential, in both the sports and entertainment sectors.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and implement a brand-led sales strategy in representing and generating sponsorship revenue for our global and regional rightsholder portfolio.
- Manage the full sales process including prospect identification and outreach, proposal development, pitch presentations, negotiation of terms, and contract finalization.
- Build and manage a comprehensive and strategic new business pipeline.
- Develop project-specific qualified category and brand targets.
- Create outreach strategies for new lead generation.
- Utilize existing connections to introduce new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with brand prospects to ensure our assets are front-of-mind.
- Stay actively connected and knowledgeable about the global and regional sports & entertainment industry, following the latest trends in sponsorships and global IPs.
- Leverage industry knowledge/market research to ensure that new business opportunities are identified early and effectively.
- Work with wider team and network to create tailored sponsorship proposals based on prospect’s objectives.
- Build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders. Maintain consistent collaboration with stakeholders to manage the prospecting and sales process.
- Represent F31 at regional and global exhibitions and events.
- Actively build sales team to support business requirements. Support the development of junior team members.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven commercial sales background (10+ years) within the sports & entertainment sector.
- Significant experience in the GCC region, with a broad network of senior-level brand and agency decision-maker relationships specifically in the UAE and KSA.
- Track record of developing and closing $1M+ pa deals.
- Fluent in English. Arabic is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, with ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent communicator. Ability to handle relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills – deadline-driven and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with project management tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Sales CRM.
- Respected industry professional with good reputation within the regional sports and industry sectors.
- Possess a strong understanding of property rights and asset architectures.
- Regional and international travel will be required for this role.
